Can Blog Success Get You to Page One with Relatively No Effort

Yes, it can!
Just to show an example of how good things can really be, I put up 2 posts on a brand new website that Dave Olsen set up for me. It was basically set up for a side project, something to do that interests me, and would be a good income earner down the road.
How could 2 posts on a brand new blog be very successful?
Because if you do all of what you are taught here, from the technical end of set up, plugins, research, and so on, you are building a fantastic foundation for success. Not only will you be successful, but you will be found and searched for hundreds if not more keywords and keyword phrases.
When you are contemplating your content strategy, make sure you think about how the average person is going to be searching the internet for your content, product or service.
Often times, we think that we need all these "high society" or "trendy" phrases. That's not true! Who is your ideal audience? What words or phrases are your readers going to use when they do a Google search? Hey, maybe your target audience is more likely to type in a question rather than just a word or phrase.
Back to the Amazing part...
We (my friend and I) have two posts on our site LDSMediaReviews.com, both are book info/reviews for two clients. They are both relatively simple, yet, the reviews are very targeted pieces that give you enough of a synopsis that will help you decide if you will want to read the book or not.
Both reviews are keyword optimized for each clients book.
In other words, I tagged these posts very carefully. I also made sure that I did more than just the main tagging feature, I also used the SEO All in One plugin and I made sure that I used the Excerpt. I typically add more to this, but, since this was just to be filler, I haven't gotten everything in order.
For curiousity sake, we did a search and what we found was that we ranked higher than our client for his book! I know that the BlogSuccess system works, but, it still amazes me at how fast it can happen. We simply added content, did a good job, not great but still took center stage on the first page of Google!
What is so amazing here is that we had no intention of being in the top 100 searches yet, nor did we think that 3 little words would hit #5 in Google. Now, as for the author of the book, his site isn't in the first 11 pages, and only has 2 referrences on other websites in the first 110 search results.
I am getting more traffic directly related to the author's book, than he is.
Now, that's sad for him, but really a great thing for me. It tells me that when I talk to other authors, I will have one really good example of how powerful our website is, and why they should have us write up a review for their book. It also shows me that I can help them to better understand why its so important to have a blog, and that anyone can have BlogSuccess!
