A good rule to shoot for is to try and have your keyword only once in your title...Repeating it will be considered "keyword stuffing" Once you're done with your title, just go through and make sure that you've got the KW an adequate number of times in the body. Try and use your KW phrase of choice once per 100 words. That'll give you a nice KW density...Around 3%, which the search engines absolutely love.

If you just make a point of using your keyword around 5 times for each of your 300 word articles (about), then you'll be good.

The last thing to do is to read over your article. Make sure that you take the time to proof read your article so as to make sure that you correct any and all errors that you see. Something to read through is to read the sentences where you used your keyword out loud...This will ensure that you're using it in a way that sounds good. A good way to lose readers is to have grammatical or spelling errors in your article.
