Caper Chairs Stacking Ergonomic Chair Review
Caper Chairs Stacking Ergonomic Chair Review
Today I was at the local office depot when a woman that worked there recommended the Caper Chair. Well that isn't exactly how it went down, first I sat in about 20 other chairs ranging anywhere from fifty to three hundred dollars in price range. After sitting in all of them and complaining about pain to my lower lumbar region, specifically the c8 region, she took me to the back of the store and popped out her handy dandy catalog. She first explained to me that she too had dealt with back pain and had even seen multiple chiropractors about her issues. When they finally discovered the problem it turned out that she was using a cheap office chair that she bought with her employee discount. This little chair was the culprit behind her woes and pains that she dealt with on a daily basis.
To make a long story much shorter, she was directed to the Caper Chair which is specifically made by Herman Miller and targets people with back pain. As she explained her story to me I wondered if this was a selling tactic or if she was genuine, so I decided to a little research on my own. The first problem that I had with her story was that the chair that she was recommending to me was a stacking chair. Generally when you think of a checking stair you think of those white lawn chairs that you see commonly used at weddings or for outdoor events. You think of the discomfort that you experience when you sit in such a chair for a prolonged period of time. Finally you think cheap, I mean how much could a plastic lawn chair really cost? The think about the caper chair though is that it was listed at around three hundred dollars. I almost gasped when I saw this so I kept reviewing and noticed that almost all the reviews on it were outstanding. The majority of the people that had purchased were writing in to explain that they had the same misconceptions as me and after using it for some time could gladly recommend it wholeheartedly.
Let's get on to describing the actual chair itself. The chair comes in an assortment of colors ranging from e-yore gray or periwinkle blue (for the eclectic coder) and boasts the ability to hold a baby elephant without bending. Supposedly it is made out of some high quality plastics that that are still in testing phase but have been certified as military strength. I don't know about all that but since I am a rather plump individual this gave me a little bit of peace knowing that when I was sitting in this thing it wouldn't collapse and snap like a twig. (Trust me, I've had it happen in the past and it isn't the most pleasant experience) Another feature of the chair is the design was created to ensure proper posture when sitting in it. It forces the user into the proper ergonomic position that promotes proper blood flow so that you can work for longer periods of time comfortably.
Needless to say I was sold and ended up ordering two of the chairs, one for my office and one for my home. Make sure to check back in as I will be soon reviewing whether or not I kept the chair or sent it back.
