. You may have to open yourself up to some compromise. A few points to remember are to never take the first offer. If the buyer walks away because you dont take it then dont worry. There will be another person who will have a look at it. In order to sell your car it will require you to be patient if you have a specific price in mind. After multiple people have looked at the car then consider compromising with the buyers that come along in the future then consider being a little more flexible with the whole process. It is easy to feel the pressure (even professional sales people get down when they are having a particularly bad day).
Challenge the next buyer. Tell them you are willing to match the price that they can get elsewhere for the same car you want to sell ensure the price they present you with is from a written quote and you actually sight the quote. If you have had a lot of trouble trying to sell your car you will probably be pleasantly surprised. If you arent happy with the price politely decline and say you have had a better offer since you told the buyer you make that deal. At the very least tell them that if the other deal falls through you will contact them. Let them down gently but keep the faith! You may be having a bad day but dont let previous bad experiences taint your next sales experience.
Keeping the faith is akin to remaining positive in the face of adversity. Use your happy face when trying to sell your car. Dont let a negative experience have an effect on your body language. Without positive body language your verbal language will be betrayed by your body language. If your body language doesnt suit your verbal language then any buyer will spot how uncomfortable you feel and then they will have trouble feeling comfortable. An uncomfortable buyer may turn into a buyer that is no longer interested because they feel they cant trust you. If you have some faith in your ability to sell the car it can very well reverse any negative vibes you are sending out.
