Career Development, Stand Out By Building Your Brand

I've taken many trips down the road in my career development

. Many things have made a great impact on my career. I remember when I first found someone that I could be accountable to. That was a big step, next was to find other people to do the work I had with my current business.

Many people do all the work themselves and say that they can't afford to outsource their work. But there comes a time in your online business where you can't afford not to. You get to the cross roads of your career, then just take a leap of faith. I found that I made a lot more money doing this. I hired a full time assistant to come in and at first I said I can't afford to do this. But when I hired her it freed up a good majority of my time to create other important products for my business.

I came from this step with more money in my pocket as well. You just have to do it as I know this is a big step for most people. This was something I learned late in my profession. Your business just can't grow to a certain degree if you're doing all the work yourself.

You can use a base camp system, where everyone checks into one place. This makes outsourcing easier. Just do a search for outsourcing tools and you'll come up with a list of some good freebies. Your communication and reporting is all done from one place.

It's not like your dreaming about success with no money coming it. It will be there soon. I've had two different kinds of assistants, those that show up in person and virtual ones. I've used both. They all worked out fine, but every company is different and so are the company's needs. I do a lot of traveling so I don't use the ones that come to my office.

Instead, I prefer virtual assistants. I'm from the USA and I want them to come from my country, Australia, or England. They have to know how to speak English very well. I like using people that I know personally because then I don't have to be troubled with a lot of questions.

It just depends on the business that you currently have. If you're running a service based model, your going to have to hire someone to answer the phone for you. You need to prepare yourself for doing this even though you're doing the work yourself right now. If you're just selling other people's products then hiring a virtual assistant to do some of the work for you is the way to go. Those are just some of the things I did with my career development.
