Finding the right carp fishing gear can be difficult, especially if you live outside of Europe. While the sport has matured in Europe, in other regions of the world it can be difficult to find decent gear. This is especially true in the United States, as carp is usually not seen as a sort of game fish. Not only that, but in United States people usually do not eat carp like they do in Europe, so there is not a lot of gear on the market.

If you live outside of the UK or any other part of Europe, you will have to look on the internet to find the perfect carp fishing gear. Remember that because carp fishing is popular in Europe, you can find a wide range in quality among the gear you order online from overseas.

While of course there is extremely cheap gear do you can pick up, there is also gear that can cost you thousands of dollars for one piece. It is not uncommon to find just a rod for over $1000, so you need to be able to pinpoint your price range before searching.
