Cartoon Network is another source of good Christmas movies for children

. They show good values and lessons that children can appreciate and understand since the movies are made especially for them.

One of the most famous cartoon movies that Cartoon Network had shown is The Little Troll Prince. The story is about Christianity and a little trolls journey of knowing Jesus and fighting for his belief.

Bu is a little troll prince who grew up knowing that bad is good and good is bad. Although he was taught that being bad is good and healthy, it is in his nature to be polite and well mannered. He says the words thank you and please much to the dismay of his father. His troll brothers who are jealous of him tricked him into coming down the mountains into the human village in order to please their father. The trolls believe that humans are evil and they will destroy them. Although scared, Bu ventured out into the woods together with his evil brothers where he was tied into a tree and left there to die.

A family cuts down the tree to make it their Christmas tree and two sisters discovered him. He befriended the two sisters and they taught him about the Bible and Jesus. Bu was amazed with the story and he asked the two sisters if Jesus also loved him even though he is a troll. The girls answered yes believing the account in the Bible that Jesus loves everyone. A messenger from the Troll kingdom comes down to the mountains and Bu tried to flee fearing that the messenger will hurt his two friends. There he realized what love is and his heart started beating.

Back at the kingdom, he was put on trial for treachery and blasphemy as his brothers lied to his father about him trying to kill his siblings. He mentioned the passages in the Bible and his father stripped him of his prince title and disowned him. Bu was banished from the kingdom and he had nowhere to go since he was neither a human nor a gnome. His brothers tried to kill him once again but a fox chased them to their kingdom and the bridge connecting the human land to the trolls was destroyed.

Bu fell asleep on a tree and a gnome couple saw him there. Upon asking what Bu is doing there, Bu suddenly realized that he is not a troll anymore but a gnome. He lost his pointy nose and ears and his heart is beating. Bu went with the gnome couple until he reached the house of the two sisters he befriended and he lived there happily.

The Christmas movie about the story of Bu is perfect for children because of the good values it teaches such as being good and minding your manners. The story also narrates the real reason behind the festivities of Christmas and that is the birth of Jesus Christ.
