The first thing you should do is join a gym or health club or make sure you can effectively exercise for cellulite reduction at home. While many women exercise for cellulite in their homes many feel a little more motivated to continue with a exercise program when they go to a gym or health club, not to mention the better selection of equipment you have at a gym. To exercise for cellulite reduction you should do movements that will target the effected areas directly. Since the most common area for cellulite is the hips thighs and buttocks that is the area you will probably be targeting. The best lower body movements to fight cellulite are the lunge, the squat, leg extension and the leg curl. Not only will these exercises help to tighten and tone the lower body but they are good at reducing fat deposits as well. All of these can be done either with free weights or on a gym machine. With these exercises you should aim for 2-3 sets of each exercise and do 15-20 repetitions each. You should be weight training at least 3 times a week. No exercise for cellulite program would be complete without aerobic workouts to accelerate the fat reduction. Your aerobic exercise can be the stationary bike, treadmill a step class or anything that gets the heart rate up for at least 20 minutes.

If you are a beginning weight trainer and just starting your exercise for cellulite routine then you may want to start out on the machines until you build your strength up to a point were free weighs are not as hard to control. If you are a gym or health club member check and see if they offer a personal trainer.
