Patient may also experience nausea problem, feel like vomiting, dizzy, restlessness, pain of joints and vagina itchy or discharge. Cephalexin medication may also induce allergic reactions like hives, breathlessness, swelling on face, lips, tongue, and throat. It may make the mouth go dry, induce drowsiness and light headedness. Patient may feel weak, irritable and experience muscle pain.
What precautions do I need to follow while using Cephalexin?
Cephalexin antibiotic medication should not be used along with the combination of other drug such as Keflor, Raniclor, Duricef, Omnicef, Spectracef, Suprax, Cefzil, Fortaz and Ceftin. People suffering from Kidney or liver disorder, colitis problem, stomach problem, diabetes and malnourished problem should not use this medication without the doctor's advice as they might need a dosage adjustment or may need to go for special test.Lactating mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medication as it passes into the breast milk and cause harm to the nursed child. Women who are pregnant or planning to get pregnant should use this medication without the doctor's recommendation. The patient should throw away the left over medication after 14 days.
