Diane-35 acne is a medciation that is composed of two active ingredients known as ethinyl estradiol and cyproterone. Cyproterone is substance that belongs to the class of drugs known as antiandrogens. Ethinyl estradiol is substance that belongs to the class of drugs known as estrogens. Together this substance is used along with the combination for treating certain types of acne in the women. This medication functions by maintaining the hormone that affects the individual skins.
How should I take this medication?
This medication should be taken exactly as it is prescribed by the doctor. Take this medication once in a day. Do not skip the medicine even if missed take it immediately and if it is time for the next medicine take it at the regular time, but do not take two
diane-35 birth control medicine at the same time. Generally this medication should be taken daily for continous 21 days or as suggested by the medication specialist. Do not expose Diane-35 medication in moisture, light and heat. Always keep in dry and cool place. The patient should check the direction given in the label of the medication. Your doctor might also need to change the dosage and frequency based on how your body responds to the drug.
What are the possible side effects of using this drug?
Diane-35 pill may cause abdominal cramp, bloating, increase or decrease of appetite, pain of breast, softness or swelling, change of skin color, dizzy feeling, increase or decrease of face or body hair, loss of interest in sexual activity, sensitive to the sunlight, nausea disorder, swollen ankles or feet, tired feeling or weak feeling, feel like vomiting and increase or decrease of weight. This medication can also cause unusual bleeding problem, depression, skin paleness, sweating problem, breast lump, marginal head pain, rise of blood pressure, liver problem change of skin color into yellow (jaundice) and itchy or irritation at the vagina. Diane-35 may also induce allergic reactions like hives, breathlessness, swelling on face, lips, tongue, and throat. It may make the mouth go dry, induce drowsiness and light headedness. Patient may feel weak, irritable and experience muscle pain. As it makes the skin more sensitive, the patient easily gets bruised, blisters and peeling of skin rash.
What precautions do I need to follow while using Diane-35?
This medication should not be used without consulting the doctor if this symptoms occurs such as sever or sudden stomach pain, blood coughing, chest pain, heart problem, anxiety, vision related issue, problem while speaking and breathing problem. Women who are pregnant or planning to get pregnant should not be used this medication without the doctor's recommendation as it might cause harm to the unborn baby. Lactic mothers should consult their doctor before taking diane-35 medication as it might pass into the breast milk and cause harm to the nursed child.
