A lot of people are eagerly welcoming the implementation of the health care reform bill. They believe they will now be taken care of, in the medical health care sense. These same individuals believe they will be taken care of for the rest of their lives and never have to worry about health care matters again.
How sad that these same individuals have not even attempted to read the new health care reform bill because if they did they would find there is very little to be celebrating. It will now become more difficult to attain medical health care assistance that it was in the past.
Patients will now have a hard time looking for a physician who will attend to them since a lot of them are already retiring. They have come to realize that their profession is not rewarding.
It will be hard for them to go on with their practice if they'll only have a one million dollar liability and there's a twenty percent deduction. In this regard many doctors have turned their backs on their practice. The question is, "Who will now give us medical care?"
The professionals left in this field will be the registered nurses, nurse's aids, doctor assistants and osteopathic doctors whose numbers are now decreasing. Expect weeks or months before you could get health care from these providers.
Then there are those individuals who may decide to rebel and not purchase the mandated health insurance policy. Well, unless they are a member of a specific Mennonite religious group, American Indian Tribe, or a member of the Amish community they will be subject to a fine that will escalate with each passing year.
The fine for refusing to purchase the mandated health insurance will begin with ninety-five dollars in the first year and six hundred ninety-five dollars or two percent of your gross income in subsequent years. Imagine if this trend continues and the government decides to add jail time to the list of penalties. But this will depend on how many Americans will rebel and not buy the required health policy.
