This will provide them will tremendous benefits. There are many physical benefits, such as increased strength and endurance, but there are also many mental and emotional benefits as well.
Children and adults who exercise will enjoy a great sense of self-confidence and self-esteem. As a result, they will encounter more success in school and the workplace.
While these home machines are excellent for daily exercising, your body will adjust to the workouts you enjoy. As a result, it is important that you spice up your exercise routine every once in a while or you will not continue to see improvement.
Without a continued sense of improvement, it will be difficult for you to stay motivated to exercise. In order to prevent your body from adjusting to your routine, you must change the settings on your machine every once in a while, or you must find some other form of exercise that is enjoyable and exciting.
One of the more exotic types of sports is called cardboard tube fighting. There are cardboard tube fighting leagues all over the world.
The main league centers are based in Seattle, Washington, San Francisco, California, and Sydney Australia. The object of the fight is to break the tube of the opponent before your own tube is broken.
Participants often have fun with this sport by dressing up in cardboard costumes. Many different age levels participate in this sport.
At the Cardboard tube fighting events cardboard tubes are often free as well as the events. There are several rules involved with this sport however.
Of course, the number one rule is that you cannot break your tube. A tube is defined as broken if the tip dips to a degree that is less than 45 degrees when the tube is held horizontal or when the tip is detached from the rest of the tube.
In addition, no stabbing and no real weapons are allowed. Attacking until the other combatant is knocked out or dead is also not allowed.
Lunges with the cardboard tubes at the opponent are frowned on. A person who commits a lunge will be thrown out of the event.
Attacking the opponent's face will also result in being thrown out of the event. When one tube breaks, the fighting must stop immediately.
Likewise, only the official CTFL tubes are allowed for fighting. You cannot use anything other than your own tube to block the blows of your opponent and you must always hold your tube from the end.
However, you can switch which end you hold as you desire. In addition, you may not use a cardboard shield or any form of shield during the tournament.
For safety reasons, participants must also sign a waiver. Other than these rules, the fight is completely up to the contestants.
Robert Easley was the founder of the CTFL. He decided to start it because of two different ideas and philosophies.
First of all, he saw how much his friends and family enjoyed it and thought that he could spread that enjoyment to others as well. Second, he decided that people needed more opportunities to have and take themselves less seriously.
The first CTFL event held drew 40 people to participate. As it was picked up by magazines, it became more and more popular and it spread from Washington to San Francisco to Australia.
This is a very fun way to spice up your exercise routine and get your children involved with the activity as well. Having fun while exercising on occasion can help you stay motivated to exercise.
