Chapman Freeborn Charters First Qatar Airways Cargo B777 Freighter
Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has successfully coordinated the first ever air charter
on Qatar Airways Cargo's latest addition to their fleet - a new Boeing 777 Freighter only recently delivered to the Doha-based airline.
The global aircraft charter specialist coordinated the movement of 87 tons of telecommunications equipment from Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) to Dhaka (DAC) for the inaugural charter flight on behalf of its client Heavyweight Sweden AB.
The B777F aircraft represents the most modern, efficient, and capable twin-engine freighter in the world and can carry large shipments of over 100 tons.
Robert Jubb, a cargo charter specialist at Chapman Freeborn's UK office, said:
"We are delighted to be the first company to successfully utilise Qatar's B777F aircraft. It was a successful charter operation and we expect this aircraft to be in high-demand in the future."
Chapman Freeborn has 32 offices in 22 countries across five continents and coordinated more than 5,000 aircraft charters last year.
Earlier this month the firm was named Air Cargo Charter Broker of the Year at the ACW World Air Cargo Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
