For the majority of people their hair will grow back following completion of treatments. Everyone will have a different time span for this to occur, but the average time is between three and six months for growth to start. You should also know that many individuals will notice a difference in the color of their hair after it grows back.

There is no doubt about the fact that cancer and chemotherapy are both horrible things to go through but the important thing to remember is caring for you is a number one priority. Searching online for organizations will provide many options to head coverings available at no charge. There are groups that make chemo caps for donation who would be happy to make one designed for you just for the asking. If you are a knitter, there are many patterns available as well for caps or scarves that are quite attractive.
