Chinese Obamacare
Yesterday, I received an email containing a very troubling story from China
, which many leftists would like us to emulate. While China has made many strides forward in the past few decades, it also has a deep and very dark underbelly, that doesn't get enough
coverage.
A few years ago, stories started to circulate that the Chinese were doing Nazi-like operations on prisoners and selling body parts to the highest bidders. According to the stories, these secret operations were being done in the sub-basements of regular
hospitals, while regular care was being provided, above ground.
Now these reports are intensifying and being reported around the world, although not much of the story is getting to the public, here. According to reports, most of the organs were harvested from members of Falun Gong, whose members are feared by the Chinese
government. Falun Gong is a highly visible Buddhist revival movement that has spread across class and educational lines, since the early 1990's. Its philosphies incorporate ideas from Buddhism and Taoism and include slow motion meditative exercises on the principles of truthfullness, compassion and tolerance.
The estimated membership in Falun Gong in China is 70 million and it is estimated that 450,000 to 1,000,000 members are in prison, at any given time. In 2005, the Chinese Minister of Health admitted that 95% of all transplanted organs came from executions, but not the execution of murderers, rapists, child molesters and so on. They
were the executions of people who simply wanted to practice their beliefs.
In the past, the Chinese have denied any involvement in organ harvesting. But only three years ago, they were still training doctors to do large numbers of transplants. Other countries who were working with the Chinese on transplant projects pulled out, when the
source of the organs came into question.
The most recent harvesting accusations have come to light because the Chinese are now reportedly executing Christian, Muslim, and Tibetan Buddhists, for their organs. These executions bring the Chinese about $100,000 per body.
When the Chinese were asked on Monday to comment on this situation they had no response.

It's hard to believe, but these are the same people financing Obamacare. Let's just hope your liver doesn't end up on their radar.
