. However, before starting, you also need to know that to get a blog is very easy but the bigger concern is that how you will bring people to read your blogs because if your aim is to get famous or earn money via blogs, you need to start solid.

One approach which might help you build a business around blogging is the choice of your topics. If you chose niche topics which not many people are blogging about, you might have a chance to go big because niches always help you grow. So, how should you select your topic? Here are a few tips that you should consider before actually selecting a topic:

The first thing that you should ask your self is, are you interested in the topic? Would you want to read on this topic if someone else wrote about it? It seems more appealing to write about what others are interested and are writing on it as it makes more commercial sense but again there is no logic in writing about something that you have zero interest in. There are two reasons for it, if you want to become a blogger who is known to have unique ideas and have a well respected blog, you need to take up issues that other people are avoiding. Select topics that will go a long way instead of topics you wont be able to blog about a few months down the line.

Secondly and more importantly, if you are not interested in the topic yourself, you will not be able to pull readers. Your readers are smart and they will be able to judge that you yourself are not interested in the topic that you wrote about.

Selecting a topic that is popular also helps. A topic that is going popular and you have information about that topic would be a perfect choice for you and would interest people in to reading your blog. Another thing to keep in mind is that the topic of your choice is growing and not shirking. A shrinking topic would mean that people will soon lose interest in your blog and will not be interested in reading about that topic anymore.
