It is also important to place a cover over your hot tub when it is not in use, so fewer pieces of debris get in. A hot tub cover will also help retain the heat in the water and protect children from accidentally falling in.

It is possible to put your hot tub indoors, but you will face some complications. The first complication you will have to deal with is ventilation. If your house does not have good ventilation to begin with, the steam from the hot tub will accumulate on the walls, ceiling and floor. Another problem you will have to deal with is drainage. A hot tub needs to be drained every four months and the large amount of water will not be easy to drain manually.
