Choosing The Tent That Fits Your Camping Needs

Before looking for ideal tent rentals when planning to camp out

, prepare your standards in choosing a tentone that perfectly serves your living needs in a place far away from home. It should give you almost similar comfort as your real homes so that you can sleep well at night. Consider, then, the following in choosing a tent to rent:

Size and shape. If you are going camping alone, choose a tent that is easy to pack, carry, and install but can accommodate you conveniently. A round-shaped tent with sufficient living space is ideal. However, if you are going camping with your family or friends, you will need a bigger tent that can provide enough sleeping and dining area. Depending on how long your camping will last, you can choose a tent with vestibule where you can store extra tools and equipment you need.

Poles and tendons. Tents always come with poles and tendons that hold and spread the fabric up. Traditional tents provided by few tent rentals have large wooden or steel frames that are too heavy to carry in a long journey towards an off-road campsite. Modern tent poles and tendons are made of aluminum and other lighter metals to facilitate carriage. Even if it can make the journey easier, avoid tents that require improvised poles, as the result may not provide you with your expected amenities.

Fabric. A tent usually consists of a fly sheetthe outermost coveringand an inner tenta mesh inner lining. The fly sheet is typically made of thick nylon that prevents water and moisture from permeating into the inner tent, which, on the other hand, prevents temperature from dissipating and insects from entering. Choose a tent fabric that will give you warmth and keep bugs out, and good for groundsheet to prevent moisture from seeping up.

Pitching. Sometimes, the sturdiest-looking tents are the hardest ones to pitch. When choosing a tent, consider setup efficiency. It takes time for some tents to be fully set up and disassembled. Considering that you only have limited time for your camping, you will not want to waste a huge fraction of it on setting up alone. Modern tents consist of spring-loaded poles that allow it to be pitched in seconds.

Zippers. Although small, zippers are a significant accessory to a tent. Many tent rentals brag their tents because of affordable prices and bulk. However, as a good customer, check every area first before deciding to take one. A broken zipper can be a big problem when you are already at the camping site, as insects may enter the inner tent.
