? The office Christmas party is one of the biggest events in the work calendar and ensuring that you look great is a must. Two weeks before the big night make sure you book appointments at the hairdressers and beauty salon in preparation. Once these are booked it is time to start thinking about style options. Hair extensions are a great choice for a party as they give an instant splash of glam to any outfit. If you normally have short hair, extensions are a great way of really jazzing up your look. Make sure you get them fitted by a professional to avoid any unfortunate hair disasters, with so many people taking pictures you do not want a documented decline!

The week before the party it is time to find your perfect dress, if like many of us you have already trawled through online shopping sites during your lunch hour you should have an idea of what you want to wear. If you do buy online make sure you leave plenty of time to try on and return if it is not the right size or fit, next day delivery is a great choice! If you are buying in store make sure you take the time to pick up some stylish accessories.

48 hours before the event is the time to start applying fake tan if you are going for a bronzed look. This will give the tan plenty of time to even out and develop naturally; avoiding any embarrassing moments when you arrive with bright white patches. A trial run of your make up for the big night is also advised, along with ensuring that you are not missing any key outfit pieces such as the right coloured bra, shoes, tights or even emergency safety pins.

24 hours before the party is time to relax, no one needs to be stressed out at the work Christmas party, plus bags under the eyes are not a good look! Get a good nights sleep and ensure that the most taxing thing you do is painting your nails! On the day of the party enjoy getting ready and make sure you do not over do the champagne; there is nothing worse than looking through photos of panda eyes and bedraggled hair.
