City Of London Festival

The capital of England, London, can be redefined as a hub for festivals

, for it is a city that hosts myriads of vivacious events throughout the year. Some of these festivals are organized annually coinciding with the seasons and special holidays and others are in line with multifarious themes. Summer in London too is packed with a number of festivals that incorporates live cultural, musical and dance performances.

Among these summer festivals in London there is a one that focuses on a wide spectrum of performing arts, known as the City of London Festival. This festival also conducts various programmes based on film, music and visual arts complemented with guided tours and lectures.

Unique buildings like churches and outdoor spaces along streets in London transform into one massive stage where a one of a kind festival takes place. The City of London Festival usually spans for three to four weeks starting from June to July.
