Word of mouth worked wonders, and if the product was of good quality, the word reached fast to a large section of the population. But it was a time consuming process, and one could not think of reaching out to the masses in a jiffy. Necessity is the mother of invention, they say, and so appeared the classifieds in the print media like newspapers. These classifieds carried information about the products and people came to know about them quickly as in a news starved nation, newspapers served as the only medium which provided the latest info to the people. In came TV, and soon people started to use it as a medium to spread awareness about their products and services.

The latest entrant in the field of classifieds is the internet. Though it made humble beginnings in the country, it is the fastest growing medium of info in India today. The tremendous reach and potential of internet is what is attracting people, whether they are buyers or sellers to it and they are amazes by the results. Whether you have to buy or sell a car, a house or a plot, machines, appliances, or just about anything, internet has proved that in reaching out to the maximum number of people at the same time, there is no medium that can beat it.

There are lot and lots of categories in it such as products, services, ideas, personnel etc. and you can select one that suits your requirements. You can post your ad in the classifieds and you will surely get a response if you have planned and designed your ad in a though out manner.
