Abbey Park

Unlike other many gardens, Abbey Park is a pond and water rock garden. The highlight of this park is the Italian gardens in which Torbay palms of different varieties are on display. In 2000, the park was planted with flowering cherries all the way from the Seafront which makes a spectacular new addition to the already magnificent garden.

The gardens take its name from Princess Louise, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria. The crown and glory of this garden is a cast iron fountain given by Mr. H. Young of the Torbay Hotel.
