An absorbent cloth / paper towels

White vinegar

A bucket of warm water

A bottle of anti-urine cleaner

Before cleaning the floor, you'll need to grab some white vinegar. You have to dissolve it in water at about 30 percent. If you cannot find vinegar, you can always use diluted hydrogen peroxide or baking soda to clean the urine. Keep in mind that you will have to buy a bottle of some anti-urine cleaner that contains special enzymes to remove stains and odors in your local pet store. Don't panic, it is not so hard. When it comes to cleaning floors, if you don't like it, you can always wear a pair of gloves.

Use an absorbent cloth or paper towels to remove urine from the floors as soon as you realize. If the urine has already dried, then use a little warm water to hydrate the area and then use the cloth to absorb water.

Once the floor is dry, spray the area with vinegar, remember it is supposed to be diluted in water and then wait till it is completely dry. Repeat this step several times to completely remove the stain. Then rinse your wood floor with warm water and pat dry with paper towels. Use anti-urine cleaner in the affected area to remove odor-causing bacteria and stains on the floor. Let stand for at least thirty minutes. Rinse with warm water and mop the floor.
