For people that wonder why CNG cars are not more used here in the country
, there are a few things that need to be understood to help shed some light on the reason for this. Understanding the issues at hand will help this to make a lot more sense.
The main thing that needs to be understood is that the USA is totally dependent on other countries for their oil. Without these countries, the USA does not make enough oil to support the large amounts of transit needs here in our own country.
The country spends tons of money and funds auto makers to improve petrol performance when what they really should be doing is working on enhancing the natural gas market for cars. So why are people not driving CNG cars then to help make this change?
The biggest reason is that natural gas is everywhere in the USA. There is not enough infrastructure built to be able to handle harnessing large amounts of the gas to be able to power America as a whole. Until the government spends money and funds an infrastructure over haul, the CNG cars will continue to slowly be rolled out instead of in a rapid manner.
Once there is enough infrastructure to be able to handle the nations' transit needs, CNG cars will become popular as car engines run much cleaner on the gas and the cars last much longer. The lack of CNG stations also makes it difficult for CNG car drivers to find fuel.
The other issue is that there are not enough natural gas stations to make it possible and fees able for people to start using this fuel. As soon as the infrastructure is improved, and more stations pop up, the use of CNG cars will remain low.
