As a freshman, you may be particularly worried about your safety in the new college environment

College Safety Tip #5: Do not play with your room keys.
The keys to your room are essential for your entry and access to your stuff. If you lose them, it could fall in the hands of someone who can take advantage of it. If you do end up losing them, make sure that you report it and get yourself a new set of keys even if it means paying a fine.
College Safety Tip #6: Do not leave your car unlocked.
As with your room, so with your carlock it. Ensure that you do not leave your car unlocked at any time for anyone could take advantage of it.
College Safety Tip #7: Do check your car every now and then.
There may be times when you would not require using a car for many days. However, it is important that you keep checking your car every now and then to ensure that it is still there and no one has been misusing it.
College Safety Tip #8: Do not leave your stuff unattended in the library.
You will be visiting your library frequently during your college years. While you are at the library, checking out books or reading them, you may lose focus on the stuff that you may be carrying. It is important that you either carry them around or you keep an eye on them all through the time.
