You are going to leave school. You are ready to enter a new stage of your life and become a student in a college. You have already heard about numerous peculiarities of college life. You know that this period of your life is probably the most memorable and unpredictable, this is why you are so exciting and even embarrassed.

Considering both positive and negatives sides of college life, there are so many reasons why you should look forward these times and dream about your first days in college, your possible friends, and your activities. Each of these points excites indeed, and you are tempted with an idea of being a college student.

Usually, college life makes students free from parental control

-It is possible to come back home when the party is over but not when parents call and ask to hurry up;

-It is possible to choose any clothes and not to be criticized by your mom or dad that this jacket is inappropriate for students;

-It is possible to invite any person to your room (flat) and not to wait for parents permission.

Very often college life makes students become more responsible and serious

-Students get certain rules to follow, and if a mistake is made, students should evaluate the situation and respond for outcomes;

-Students who live without parents should cook independently (though many students prefer to feed in cafeterias, it is important to know some basics of cooking);

-Money is a weak point of many students, this is why it is very important to evaluate incomes and analyze costs independently.

Sometimes college students re-evaluate their principles and improve themselves

-Student stop observing the world through their pink colored glasses and realize that aspects are the crucial ones in their lives;

-Students comprehend the essence of friendship and get a chance to fall in love;

-Students make their first important decisions and influence their own lives.
