These symptoms come in a lot of different shapes, sizes and colors. If you are having skin problems you may experience blisters on your feet that don't go away, or it could be changes in the nails and the color of your skin. You might also have a lot of peeling skin or just have it start cracking down on your heel. This can be very painful. Other symptoms may be more of a bacterial nature including pus that is coming up from infections, or severe swelling and redness on your feet. Your feet might also get very hot and be very tender to the touch.
Other things to look for are thickening toenails or persistent pains in your ankles and heels even when no pressure is applied. You might also experience some numbness as well as a tingling sensation in your foot. Also look for infections that start to spread under the nail and the skin that is surrounding it.
