I recently ran in to a friend who had a wart removed from her leg using surgery instead of natural home removal

. She had the wart removed on the day i saw her and she was on some pretty strong prescription medications for pain. What she was prescribed is much stronger than Tylenol. She was also out of work for the rest of her work day. This tell me a few thing about what she had done to have wart removed.

The first thing she said was that she was on a lot of pain medication, which means that the surgery hurt. She said she couldn't feel anything at the moment because the pills she had taken were very strong. That means that it must have been a fairly painful procedure.

She also said that she would have to go back to the doctor in a few weeks to have the stitches removed. She said her wart was not very big, but the doctor had to remove the roots as well as the head. The doctor had basically cut the wart out of her lower leg, leaving a big hole that had to be stitched up.

Not only did she now have a hole in her leg, stitches to sew up the hole, lots of pain and painkillers to go along with it, but she missed some of her work, would have to miss more work to have to stitches taken out, as well as medical bills for the surgery.

She also showed me a picture of the stitched up hole that she had taken with her cellphone's camera. Even on the phone's small, grainy, screen I could see that what she had been through was not a walk in the park. My girlfriend and I shrieked a little and jumped back when we saw the photo. I was pretty rough.

Our friend didn't want to lift her pant leg to show us that wound, and we didn't want her to after seeing that photo. I really struck me how barbaric

this operation was, it was really nothing more than just cutting out something that was deeply imbedded in her leg and sewing it up.

There are other ways to remove warts. Freezing and chemical applications are also used by doctors to remove warts. These treatments also have their drawbacks, and also might leave scarring, discoloration, or have other side-effects, besides the pain, bills, and hassle.
