Customer reviews are, indeed, very important because they inform potential buyers about the qualities and flaws attached with a product. Talking on pros and cons is very important because it helps potential buyers to decide whether to purchase an item or not. Therefore, it is essential for the writer to consider talking about the qualities or flaws that customer is willing to look into a review about the product. So, to make your review useful for another buyer, you will have to consider the following points:

Be honest

First of all, the reviewer while writing a review has to make sure that s/he is working with honesty. In fact, there is no point in over stressing how you feel about the product. If you think that you really like the product then you can give it a general positive review. However, you are supposed to work with honesty, so make sure that you mention the issues you have faced regarding the product as well. It is a common practice when people do not mention the flaws in product and ultimately potential buyers are misled. Your review can influence the decision of potential buyer, so make sure that your review is presenting true and fair view.

Provide Information

You have to think beyond your likes and dislikes while writing a product report. The report reader does not want to know either you liked it or not. The reader is actually interested in knowing that why did you like or dislike it. You are supposed to provide detailed analysis of pros and cons of the product. If you mention figures in your review, potential buyer will find your review much more helpful than any other review. It is a fact, that people prefer figures-wise comparative data rather than simple writing.

Be professional

Review is written by a lay man, generally, so we cannot expect it to be as perfect as literature. It is, however, of great importance that review is free of any silly grammatical mistakes. Also, avoid writing complex structures in order to increase readability of the content. The writer should understand that he/she is not writing an English novel where every sentence should read like a poem. Write sentences in simple and understandable language. Proper heading is another important point to be considered. Proper attractive heading attracts readers, so come up with the attractive one.

Personal Opinion

The credibility of the consumer reviews will increase if reviewer mentions personal opinion. The review is for potential buyers; therefore, personal opinion will be of great importance. Undoubtedly, providing a personal opinion is only possible when the review writer himself have used the product. Make sure that you use the product for some time and then write a review rather than writing a review on first impression. In order to make review powerful, it is important that the review writers are able to prove their point, and this is only possible when the product is personally used by them. In this way, writer will be fully aware of the hidden flaws and benefits of the product, so the review will be more helpful.
