Cordless Vacuum Cleaners Overview

Cordless vacuum cleaners are not new in today's world

. However, they are getting better and better with the technology that is used to run them. Cordless vacuum cleaners are easy to use, last long enough for you to do the job, and cost-effective. What types of vacuums are there? There are three main categories to choose from, Stick-Vacs, Robots, and Handhelds. Together these three make up the majority of the market.

Stick-Vacs

Cordless stick vacuum cleaners are easy to hold and use. They resemble a regular upright more so and are great for hardwood floors and light carpets. These are among the most popular cordless vacuums available and are getting more and more popular as time goes on. Everyone wants something easy to grab and use for their kitchen or bathroom without having to mess with cords. These are great for that.

Robots

iRobot is one of the first companies to really introduce the future of cleaning. With a product like the Roomba you can hit a button and walk away for a few hours, when you return your floor will be clean. How? iRobot has put a tremendous amount of time designing and programming their robots to seek out and clean carpets. These are truly amazing machines to look into. I own one and love to just watch it zip around and clean for me.

Handhelds

Handhelds are probably the oldest of the bunch here. Cordless Handheld vacuum cleaners have been around for a while now starting with the old corded dirt devils. Since then they have also grown into some truly amazing machines. These are great for the car of small jobs like behind the computer of base boards. They are not made for heavy-duty cleaning, so do not try to use them for that.

There are so many companies out there to. Hoover, Dyson, Eureka, even iRobot. These companies are making a statement that the future of vacuums just might be cordless ones. We are already starting to see that with other products.

Cordless anything is becoming more popular than ever. With technology improving everyday this is the wave of the future for people. Think about all the cordless gadgets you have now that did not exist even 20 years ago. You have the cell phone, the mouse, the computer itself, television, even books. If you do not own one of these truly amazing machines its time you looked into one.
