. This is something that is getting more attention these days but there still aren't enough people doing it.

If you aren't doing core stability exercises then this needs to change. It is vital that you do or you risk having problems when you are older. For a little effort now you can save yourself a lot of pain in the years to come.

You can have lots of problems with having a weak core but a problem most associated with it is back problems. Who doesn't know someone who has a bad back? That is right, lots of people do. A lack of core stability exercises means a weak core and therefore potential for back problems. You don't want to be in a position of getting a weakness there because it is hard to shift.

You can also encounter problems with other parts of your body. It is not uncommon that bad necks and knees to be associated with core problems. This is because you aren't carrying your weight properly so your body has to adjust. This puts pressure on joints and muscles that aren't ready for it and that causes injury.

This is where you have the option of trying to prevent this from happening. While it is true that you can never rule out the possibility of suffering from these types of injuries, if you persist with your core stability exercises you will reduce the risk. They will only take you between 5 to 15 minutes per day and you can either add them to your normal workout routine or you can do them in your house.

It won't take you long to really get into you core stability exercises. Once you have been going them for a while you can make the workouts a little more fun. Try introducing a stability exercise ball and see how you get on with it.
