Corporate world got you in a rut

Before she got into network marketing, she was involved in the corporate world. She worked as a Sales Associate (secretary) for a software development company in the mental health industry located in Ohio.

But she knew that wasn't what she wanted for her life, all she was doing everything to benefit the company, but for the long term, she did not see any direct result or benefit. She wanted to be able to work from home with her husband Eric and enjoy all the good things life has to offer.

About 10 years ago, she started working with different MLM companies, meeting great people, but was not making any money.

Then after the 9/11 tragedy, her husband Eric lost his job. Because she did not have an associate degree, it was difficult to find another position in the corporate world that did not require a degree. Going back to college was not a viable option.

The first thing she noticed was that she needed to learn about online network marketing. She joined a system and started with the training videos and audios. She was excited to learn all the different aspect of network marketing. But, she still was struggling. Something was missing. I would ask my sponsor questions, but she was unable to answer them. I couldn't rely on my sponsor so I left the system. Regardless, I was still determined to figure out how online network marketing worked.

She begin to watched training videos and read ebooks - to set up accounts and produce content on the Internet through content sharing, articles, bookmarking and blogging. She even opened an account with Twitter.

She begin to write another article and thought maybe this wasn't for her after all. Her husband, Eric, said she should not let this one negative incident stop her from pursuing her dream.

She begin to think, what she need to do to be able to pay her bills, give customers change and pay taxes. She say to herself, "How am I going to do that if you don't know the math"? She illustrated to herself by drawing in the air two boxes.

One small box representing Corporate World and the second bigger box for her business. She say this is what I need to do in order to get what I WANTS, owning her own business.

Oh Boy! What a revelation. She no sooner did it, that the words come out of her mouth, did she realize. She needed to take her own advice. She started thinking back to Twitter and how she NEEDED to study and utilize this tool in order to get what I WANTED, for my business to be successful.

One last thing before I close: Having a online business don't happen over night it take time to build. You need to learn every thing you can to get ahead, but it will happen if you work at it.
