There are many costumes that have head gear as a part of the outfit, but there are many costumes that do not need headgear, which certain cats may like better. There are many different types of cat costumes, and a variety of characters to dress up as.

Dogs can also wear many fun and hilarious costumes! Just like cats, you may find it hard to keep a dog happy while wearing a costume, especially larger dogs. But never fret there are also simple things to do to dress up your dog besides a full on costume. Add a simple bandana and possibly a holster and snap a quick picture. You could also add props to make your memory come out even better before the dog decides hes done wearing it.

For the best possible fit you will really need to measure your pet from the base of the neck to the base of the tail and then keep that number in mind when purchasing sizes.

Here is a list of the sizing to get an idea of where your dog is; inches are always from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Extra Small is just about eight inches.

Small is usually between ten and twelve inches.

Medium is always about fourteen to sixteen inches.

Large is between eighteen and twenty inches.

Extra Large is about twenty-two and twenty-four inches.

This will help you find the right size clothing in costume for your pet and can easily be done using a measuring tape or a ribbon and then measuring the ribbon separately.
