Create A Free Website - The Easy Way

To create a free website is not as difficult as it may seem as there is so much free

stuff on the internet that it is possible to find information on virtually any subject. And to create your own website with the intention of developing an online business is probably one of the more popular activities which people aspire to.

Many people think about creating their own website and getting a small online business underway but then the questions arise as to how to actually start. What do you need to know ? Is it going to be too technical? Can someone with no experience really create a free website?

Well, when you think about it, at the very beginning everyone starts with no experience or knowledge so they either have to experiment like inventors do or they have to learn from someone else, or from books, courses, DVDs, etc. In other words its just a matter of learning what to do.

At one time to create a free website you would have had to learn HTML i.e. Hyper Text Markup Language which is the system used to create a website. Using bits of HTML code called tags gets the colours, paragraph breaks and italics etc in the right place. But this is no longer the case as it is all done automatically by modern web building programs, many of which are free, such as NVU and Kompozer. To find either of these programs or any other such as Dream weaver (which you have to buy) simply enter the name into Google.

So it is no longer going to be too technical to create a website. In fact it boils down to just getting to know which buttons to click on. And if you do click on the wrong button that is not a problem because you simply go back and rectify the error. You cant break anything!

Once you have the knowledge the fear of the unknown disappears!

Very often an individual is put off doing or attempting something because they think they might fail or because of what other people think. Many people do come up with negative criticism or comments which can undermine your efforts or ambitions. Just ignore them.

Most people are capable of achieving more than they think once they decide to get going with a project. Its really a matter of getting up and getting going and not procrastinating. Plan your success. If you dont have a plan you wont know where you are going and it is unlikely that you will get anywhere. Every successful person has a plan. They may have to adjust it or alter it slightly from time to time but they still have a plan.

If you have not already done so consider reading some self promotional books such as The Science of Getting Rich and Think and Grow Rich. These will help you visualize your success and where you are going but they also stress that you must also take action. Its no good just reading and imagining success - you must act on it. And that is perhaps the most difficult thing to do.

One other thing. It is a good idea to find a mentor or adviser who can guide you in your quest to build a website or start an online business. A person who has walked the walk as they say, can save you a lot of time, frustration and expense.
