For most new webmasters in the internet world this can be an overwhelming task. Yet it is a very simple process.
First Register A Domain. Domain is the name by which you and others will access your website on the internet. Some people refer to it as website name, but the truth of the matter is you can have a Website name that is different to your Domain name. For example www.webtwilight.com is my domain name that I have registered, now in my case my website name is also Webtwilight (for ease of remembering). Domain and Website name are not the same thing.
Decide what web host company you want, do your research . Remember do not go for FREE web hosting.

Prepare Lots of Good Quality Content.
Create and SEO Your Website.
Host Your Site
Submit Your Site to the Main Search Engines

Domain Name
The first step in creating a website is to decide a domain name and choice of your extension. Choosing the right name is an important part of your building and creating a website. you want to select a name that will relect your product or services. This will help all search engines find you when the web crawler is sent out.
For example, choose to register mikesbar.com if you have a night club, rathan than calling it mikemicheal.com. Choose a domain extension(.com .net .ca) that you want. I recomment to register atleast three extension.
Register Domain Name
You Have to register you domain at a registrar, like Godaddy. Once you register the name no one else can steal the name from you.
Selecting a Web Host
Before choosing a Web Host site, do your homework, search the web and find the right host for you. One of the worlds largest host name provider is Godday. Godaddy is the worlds #1 domain registrar company out there. I have been with Godaddy since 2006.

A site should be user-friendly and clean. Easy to flow through because not everyone is a computer genius. Like my Grandmother, she has little knowledge with the computer. So making a site for her will have to be user-friendly and easy for her to follow her through your site.
Make sure all links are working properly and are visible. Colour is an important part of the look of a website. Select a font and font style that will look good with the colour you choose. You may want to have a fancy design to your title but in the paragraph use the common font style like Arial.
Good Quality Content
When you create a website remember the website is the shell and the content is the soul of the site. If you have no content on your site, your site will fail. No matter how nice your site is, without content users, customers will not be returning. Having a good quality content site will be valuable and useful to you and to your visitors. Always keep your site updated and add new material often.
When writing content on your site have your own style in your own words. I suggest not to copy material but you may use articles from other websites. Sites like Wikihow.com, which allows you to paste articles from their site unto yours.
