This machine works really well. We were very careful to refrigerated and frozen in a bath full of ice cream ingredients cold before. Ice ends more than soft serve ice cream to traditional, so plan to make it 3-4 hours before eating, if you want ice cream is stronger. Sorbets were too big. I would give five stars, where the ice cream came out stronger, but overall it will encourage you to take care of it for the full baths and cold frozen ingredients before the trial.

Roack Hard Ice Cream
I was gravely disappointed with this ice cream maker. After the product is made (ice cream or yogurt) you best eat the mix right away. If not, when you place the mix into the freeze for storage to eat at a later date it will turn into a piece of ice block and nothing relating to ice cream or frozen yogurt. I will not waste my time with this product.
IT'S VERY NOISY!!
I have milk allergies and was sure I would never taste ice cream again, but I made a coconut milk based sorbet that was better than any I've ever bought, when I could even find one.
Easy to use, easy to clean, great results, but so noisy I had to put earplugs in.
There is nothing about the noise that "fades away". It's up front and annoying.
I like everything else about it, so I have to decide to either keep it, or put it on the porch and let the neighbors suffer, when I use it.
Yummy Ice Cream
I purchased this because my daughter has one and it was so easy to make the ice cream. Well, it didn't let me down so I purchased an extra container so I could make more ice cream at once

I have had numerous bucket type ice cream makers (what a mess and noise). I even had a $200.00 one (piece of junk), but this Cuisinart is wonderful. From the time I put my ingredients in my mixer to the time this machine is cleaned up from use was about 35 minutes. Quieter than my Kitchenaid stand mixer. Also, really fun to watch the ice cream make.
