"Can it be possible to cure cold sores in 3 days?" Well, according to a few people this is very possible. I, like many people, get an occasional cold sore outbreak and used to just deal with them for a week or so. This was always very embarrassing for me. At times I couldn't even face people because I would worry about what they were thinking about me. I had tried most home and over the counter remedies without much difference in healing time.

Recently I found a book, "Cold Sore Freedom in 3 Days" by Grace Melgarejo, that explains how you can take care of your cold sores in 3 days and possibly cure them forever. I do not know about that from what I know about cold sores. HSV-1 is a virus known to lay dormant in the nerves near the spine until something triggers an outbreak. Scientists are still looking in to permanently destroying the virus from the affected individual. But the possibility to cure a cold sore in 3 days, rather than in a week or so, that would be worth it in itself.

In the past I have used ice, petroleum jelly, and an over the counter medication with Docosanol. Using them all have only reduced the healing time of cold sores by a few days. So needless to say, I was excited to see if the methods in the book would actually work.

The next time I felt a cold sore coming on I grabbed the book. Mrs. Melgarejo gets straight to the point with what I needed to do and how. I started using the methods right away and the first day did not seem much different than any other time I had a cold sore. It just kept getting a little worse as the day went on. Much to my surprise, the second day did not get much worse and on the third day it was noticeably gone. Though not completely gone on the third day, I was still quite amazed at the progress. By the end of the fourth day it was hard to notice the cold sore at all.

So, since then I have been using the methods detailed in the book, "Cold Sore Freedom in 3 Days" and getting pretty good results. Appling the method as soon as the cold sore appeared I am able to relieve myself within 3-4 days. Yet I still long for a cure for my cold sore issues, I would recommend the methods used in the book Cold Sore Freedom in 3 Days to help drastically cut down on the healing time for any frequent cold sore sufferer.
