Curing Panic Attacks The Right Way

I had hundreds of panic attacks, and curing panic attacks was my main goal for years!

I'm going to tell you how I came up with my own cure and why it is that I can't tell you how to do it.

This was back in the eighties. Before the Internet and the information revolution.

I still have anxiety. I found that after I got the panic attacks to go away, that it was a lot easier to deal with, and to lower, my anxieties. That's a HUGE bonus.

I think you need you to know a little something about me and why it might be a good idea for you to learn some of the things Ive learned.


I suffered from panic attacks and anxiety for six years. I'd bet thats no record but its a fair piece of time. Seemed like a long time to me.

During that time I studied all the books I could find, I went to shrinks, I went to MDs, and I took prescription drugs.

I went to the library and looked up books on curing panic attacks.

I can deal with anxiety, and I still do, but panic attacks are anxietys evil spawn spun out of control and, if you are going through them, you know just what I mean.

Near the end of my six year sojourn through the cold valley of relentless panic I suddenly got an understanding. I came upon a new way of seeing panic attacks for what they really are and why I had no fear of them anymore. They were no threat.

I had gone through hundreds of these pernicious attacks over a six year period and I realized that, after all, I had not been harmed. At least not physically. And it seemed to me that I was mostly OK psychologically.

I was doing a slow burn over the time wasted and the ruined business meetings, and all the excuses and general BS that comes from trying to appear OK in a world ruled by panic.

Naturally, I was burned up at this situation and I was no longer afraid of these attacks, which I saw as an "evil entity. An entity I could beat.

In that state of mind I was now stronger than these things, these evil entities that had run amok in my life. That doesn't even take into account the dark episodes I struggled through.

It was at that moment that I felt the grip these fears had on me loosen and slip away. And they never came back. I knew they wouldn't.

This is what I refer to as my "mental shift" in thinking

What I had done, without realizing it at the time, was to enable my self to get rid of the fear of panic attacks and their return. I had done it. They were gone. And I knew it in my bones.

You can't do it just the way I did. The way I did it was thirty years ago and intensely personal. I can't recall it perfectly, but I DO remember the "Key."

Years later, while I was still working on my anxiety issues, I came across an internationally recognized panic and anxiety disorder coach who had devised a singularly effective method of showing panic attack sufferers how to shed their fear of these attacks.

And thats the Key. The key to curing panic attacks is to get to a point where you are no longer afraid of the attacks or their imminent return.


That's the biggest and best advice I can give and it's from my own personal triumph over panic attacks.
