(www.GAOTek.com) has released its DDS arbitrary function generator and frequency counter using direct digital synthesis (DDS) and VFD (visible vacuum fluorescent) techniques to create stable and accurate output signals with a wide selection of low distortion standard and arbitrary waveforms. It is designed for such applications as communication equipment and electronic components production. This digital generator/counter has outstanding features including convenient data input via knob or numerical keyboard and remote SCPI compatible program-control via RS232 interface. It also has the characteristics of arbitrary setting of AM modulation from 1% to 120%, 10 groups of stored settings and 0.1 phase adjustment resolution.
