I completely agree with this and have my own reasoning why he really is one of the most influential people in the world. On top of being one of the most influential people in the world, I feel he is the most influential person in sports. Here are 5 of the many reasons Dana White is one of the most influential people in the world.

1. Dana White is the president, name, and face of the fasting growing sports in the world. You can't have a conversation about mma or UFC without mentioning Dana White. This guy should get most of the credit to the reasoning the UFC is so popular.

2. Dana White has worldwide respect. You could not even say that about president Obama. Dana has held UFC events in the United States, Canada, England, Abu Dhabi, and many places in-between. The events he holds in other countries help their economies. The only other sport that brings so many countries together to watch is soccer but everyone knows MMA is much more entertaining.

3. Dana White is not fake. He has no censor and speaks his mind. He will not be fake just so you will like him. You will also know if he is not a fan or doesn't like you. Some have a problem with this type of person but I would rather someone be straight up than fake.

4. Dana White is down to earth. He never snubs fans. This guy is always meeting and greeting fans. He also stays involved with his fans through many outlets including Twitter where he has over 1.2 million followers. You will catch Dana tweeting locations where to meet him to get free tickets before an event. Bottom line he is a celebrity but when you talk to him you realize he is just a hardcore fan of MMA.

5. Dana White is passionate. He is very passionate about MMA and his company. He saw the diamond in the rough back when the UFC was a money pit losing money at every event and being banned from pay per view. His hard work, dedication, and passion grew this company to the level it is now. Dana White protects the UFC like a grizzly bear protects its young. The UFC is now worth well over a billion dollars thanks mostly to Dana White's passion for the sport and company.
