The serpentine track of this train passes over the waterfalls, hilly slop and Himalayan forests that fascinate every tourist. Happy Valley Tea Gardens

The lush green tea plantation is the prime attraction of this area. It was established in 1854 by David Wilson. While on the tour, tourists can also pluck tea leaves from the garden. They also get a wonderful opportunity to see the tea processing inside the factory. Miles stretched tea gardens offer breathtaking views that captivate tourists for long time.

The Lloyd's Botanical Gardens

Spreading over a large area of 40 acres, this beautiful botanical garden was established in 1878 by Mr. W. Lloyd. He did so with a motive to protect the native floral species. You get to see around 150 species of cacti and succulent. The place becomes the most visited place during the flowering season and boasts of a large variety of Orchid collection.

Victoria Falls

It is the popular picnic spot of this place. It is well-known for its enchanting beauty of gushing waterfalls rushing down to the valley through the deep ravines from 100 ft. There is also a ferro-concrete Bridge over the stream that offers stunning view of this place.

Passenger Ropeway

It is among the most sought after tourist attractions of Darjeeling. The passenger ropeway begins at North Point, which is about 3 km from town. It is 5 km long and connects Darjeeling with Singla Bazaar. It passes over Ranjit River at the bottom of the valley.

Some other famous attractions of the place include Kanchenjunga, Everest Museum, Sandakphu, Bengal Natural History Museum, Ghoom Monastery and Aloobari Gompa.
