And there's nothing wrong with complimenting a woman. It doesn't make you look soft or like someone she can run over. It's just a nice thing to say to woman. You can take the conversation further by asking where she likes to shop at. This will give you an idea of what she's likes in fashion as you could use this to surprise her with a gift if the relationship developed that far. Here's another conversation idea that you can use.

2) Ask her how her day went

Everyone has stressful lives, so asking her how her date when could lead to a 30 minute conversation. I've seen this happen before with myself and with others. If she had a stressful day at work, you can steer the conversation into the direction of what she does for a living. Finding out what she does for work can lead into a multitude of topics.

You can ask her how she got the position, how long she was there, what training she had to do, and even how she likes it. There are no shortage of ideas available when asking her these questions, so be sure to keep your mind open and be receptive to what she has to say.

3) Ask her about where she lived

Don't ask her about her current address or anything like that, you want to just ask her if she's lived in this area all her life. For alot of women, they haven't been at their current address all of their life so this will give you an indication of where she used to live before.

You can then ask her how she felt about living in other states, whether she likes her current address better, or even if she would consider moving back. A ton of conversation ideas can be thought off by asking a woman where she used to live.
