However, it has a purpose and you can use it to your advantage. Sure, lemons may make lemonade, but without the sugar it is most bitter. Let the pain go and use the rejection as a means of making something good out of it.

Dealing with rejection has two uses, they are acceptance and study. Acceptance of knowing and understanding that you will not be interested in everyone, even if they are interested in you, and vice versa. Early rejection is good, since most often the fantasy does not match the reality of the relationship. Study it and try to determine why a rejection.

Accept rejection and then move on. It happens to everyone, even when you think there is some connection. Trying to understand why is always worthwhile. Sure, it may be difficult, since there are many reasons as there are people. Most of the time there is no clue, since giving reasons for rejection are not always available. However, sometimes you do get clues and those are worth study to figure them out. When dealing with rejection, you can re-read any old emails for clues, although you should not obsess over them. Mind them for data and then examine both sides of the conversation. Were you two really clicking? Are your values the same? Did you argue at all?

Sometimes, you can do all the right things in the wrong way. Women are skeptical of over nice men. Not showing enough interest in a man can turn him off. Men and women want to feel special. They do not want to feel the next person on the list. Sometimes people take something as rejection when it is not. For instance, especially when getting no response at all. There can be real reasons why someone does not return a comment.

Sometimes, dealing with rejection makes people get nervous about moving any further, when they are unsure. Some just stop and do not carry on after a certain point. Sometimes, people do not find anything interesting in emails to reply to.

These things are non-response issues, not rejection issues. Since you do not know what may be happening for someone else far away, you cannot conclude any reason or answer. Just move along to your next potential.

You will know when you find the person for you, since things will flow easily between you. At least, at first they will. Everything will click. Any issues of rejection will not matter. You only need that one special person, and that person may only be a few pages away.
