One of the highlights to being an airline attendant is working while traveling around the world. They get to venture to places that other people might only dream about when they work in other jobs. This perk by itself makes working for an airline seemingly rewarding.

Stewardesses face many passengers on every flight, and meeting the passengers is an important part of the job. Additionally, meeting new travelers across the world while seeing different cultures should be considered a wonderful part to the job. However, the attendant also has to deal with problematic passengers who are angry about some element of the services they are receiving. Staying in control of any situation with each difficult customer can be agonizing for the flight attendant but a necessary part of the job.

Most air attendants have flexible schedules. These schedules can be optimal or inconvenient depending on the circumstances for the flight attendant. The hectic schedule can be frustrating for individuals who want to prep for their personal lives. The time between flights may be long or short with next to no time to rest. They might even have no time between flights for meals.. Because of the erratic schedule, they might need to skip some significant family event. Sometimes a flight attendant will have to cancel their plans if they are called in last minute because of someone calling out sick. Thus, being a flight attendant can cause stress on the family's schedule. However, the long layovers might provide them some time to venture out, or even give them some time to relax by a pool or at a beach. The durable schedule could also give them several days off at a time that would give them some semblance of a real vacation.

When they travel on their own time, theyll get unique privileges helping to get them on a plane quicker. Since the pay is not so great the first few years on the job, their own travel time may be lessened for lack of funds or until they have been employed for a few years.

Even though an attendant has some things to enjoy about their job, there are drawbacks A flight attendants job is hard work, both full of fatigue and annoying but at the same time, it can be extremely rewarding since they have the privilege to see the world and get friends everywhere.
