The active life of deca-durabolin is 14-16 days. NEGATIVE EFFECTS The negative effects or side effects are usually associated with high doses of deca-durabolin. The negative effects include highly oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth and hair loss, gynaecomastia, reduced libido, cardiovascular damage, and several ailments resulting from the drug's effect of lowering levels of luteinizing hormone through negative feedback.

DOSES A dose of 50 mg deca-durabolin every three weeks is recommended for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Average Dose for men is 300-800 mg/week, and for women is 50-100 mg/week. PRESENT STATUS The United States Food and Drug Administration has put deca-durabolin on the list of restricted drugs under the Controlled Substances Act. However, deca-durabolin is available by prescription in most countries that have not adopted strict policies on drugs as America has.
