Wedding decorations are never about what you string across the altar or what you put in the middle of the table although before you actually go shopping it's what most brides think. When you realize that wedding dcor will add up to more than just something on the table and a little something on the side, your plans for the big day take a new turn.
The thing about all kind of decorations and events is that nothing's too complicated to be simplified. Not everyone is up to making chic color schemes and most people will copy something out of magazines or off websites. The trouble will be finding everything in the exact same colors as the ones you pick out from these catalogs.
The key here is to simplify it. All you need is a color theme and you don't necessarily have to follow the exact presentation. You don't need napkins in three different colors, one will work just fine. If there are too many colors in a theme for you to manage, pick any two or three of them. The important thing is that the colors go well together.
Instead of trying to replicate the centerpieces, find something similar to the overall theme of your model table. If candy is used as a centerpiece but you can't find or afford candy dishes like the ones in the magazine, go with edible centerpieces. You can find a lot of different things like fruit bouquets and fresh fruit arrangements that make wedding arrangements very unique.
