In the US, the percentage of population that uses the Chiropractic practice is about 6%-12% at any given point in time. In fact they are one of the most common acre givers that are visited for spinal pains, back pains and general body aches. In US, many of the HMO's will need insurance policies to cover the cost of the Chiropractic Care. While in Canada, there is no coverage under the public health insurance system. In Australia, when a patient is refereed by Chiropractic Care by a medical practioners, then the federal government will meet the costs.
Effectiveness of the practice
It has been estimated that by the year 2016 the type of care will have growned to almost 18%, alot more than treatments. As of today there is no real scientific evidence that support the fact that this form of treatment works on pains and aches.
