Demand For Delivery To Bulgaria Motors Ahead

Since casting off the cloak of Russian influence in 1990

, the former Peoples Republic of Bulgaria has enjoyed a period of sustained growth, only ended by the worldwide downturn of 2008 and 2009. With an advanced industrial economy founded on coal, chemicals, heavy machinery, metals and food production, the country is taking advantage of its new-found trading freedom, afforded as a result of joining the European Union in 2007, to elevate its standing on the world stage.

The diversity of its trading partners as shown by the fact that fellow EU members Germany, Italy, Romania, France and Belgium are among the countries which take the greatest amount of Bulgarian exports is an asset which equips the country well for the progress which has been made in the last two decades to be sustained still further.

Add to that the fact that a commitment to fundamental economic reforms has been followed through by successive governments since 1990, and Bulgaria shows every sign of having an important role to play in European trade which will see it taking full advantage of its strategically important location.

The country has also often been cited as a rising star on the European tourism map, helped by some stunning natural scenery, a good range of available accommodation, and cheap prices the country retains the Leva as its national currency, although it was revalued in 1999, with 1,000 of the old currency being equal to one new Leva.

Many people have visited Bulgaria, and once they have seen its attractions have realised that it has everything they are looking for in a place where they can enjoy their retirement. As a result, there are now many expatriates enjoying making new lives in the country. Many more have bought investment properties in the country, and use them to introduce more visitors to Bulgarias many attractions.

But as with any move abroad, it is made much easier when friends and relatives back home send occasional parcels containing those little luxury items or favourite foods which just arent available in a new home country.
