Arizona.---A religion many of us know little about. As I walk through the halls I see crosses, Hijabs, the Star of David and various other religious symbols, all with their own significance. Looking closer I see signs and symbols that are unfamiliar. Horned animals, upside down crosses, and the Sigil of Baphomet. Many ask the question is this a cult or is it a religion?

Freemasonry is a trending religion popular among teens and young adults. Most are influenced by the celebrities and tv personalities that they see daily. Singers such as Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Beyonce Knowles, Kanye West, Rihanna, and Madonna are a few of the many stars accused of being part the religion. It is a belief system where you view Satan as a higher deity. The Illuminati is made of rich powerful people, it consist of 9 families that basically run the entire operation. The 33rd degree is the highest rank you can achieve many of the followers do not know who he or she is. In conspiracy theory, the term "New World Order" or "NWO" refers to the emergence of a bureaucratic collectivist one-world government. Mason's strongly believe in theories of new world Order having one central government. Believers claim this evidence can be seen in our government. They claim the illuminate has complete control over the government and all of its branches. On the dollar bill it reads NUVOS ORDO SECLORUM' new order for the ages. Local student and believer Elizabeth A. decided to pursue the religion after watching the documentary The Arrival. There is something manifesting deep within my generation of teens we know almost nothing about. Even with research and asking questions and doing countless interviews I am still left out in the dark.
