Did the Ancient Mayan Culture Predict The End of the World?

The blockbuster movie "2012"attempted to dutifully alert a targeted170 million people

, in case they too hadn't already heard of the impending Doomsday scenario predicted by the Mayans. Unfortunately, the moviegrossly misrepresented the message of this ancient prophecy by associating it with cataclysmic world-ending events rather than the themes of transformation and Spiritual Awakening the prophecy actually proclaims.

Many people believe with great apprehensionthat2012marks the completion of thisAge's Cycle. However, rather than something to be fearful of, we should perceivethat the 2012 prophecy is alerting us toopen our eyes to the Mayan's true message. These times on Earth are headed for Spiritual Prosperity rather than Global Destruction.

This should not be a time to immerse ourselves in negativity and dread,anxiously awaiting for the end of the world. Rather, it should be recognized as an age of global accountability and growth. Collectively and individually, we must assess thelevel our universalharmonious balance and work towards spiritual advancement.

Jointly,we are in amomentoustransitional evolution, living in times of unprecedented challenge, change and potential... Thisplanetary occasion has never existed before and perhaps never will again. As our population continues to grow, so do our environmental challenges. Despite great technological advancements, our society continues to struggle both physically and spiritually.

We can no longer follow the path of old world philosophy based on greed hatred and violence expecting global prosperity to be the outcome. We are living in an age of unprecedented possibilities of personal advancement but are blindly following the path of self destruction

There has never been a time in history where so much knowledgeis available at our fingertips, yet sadly, we remain spiritually ignorant of the consequences of our actions and inactions. Consequently, we DO have the ability to save our people and planet from momentary tribulation however, there needs be global conviction emblazoned in the heart and souls of this planet's inhabitants.

I propose to you that2012 will not bethe end of the world; rather it will be the end of the world as we know it today. A Universalmetamorphous is taking place and we should not be mindless of the fact that the Earth will also be affected by its immergence. .

We have been privileged to be forewarned by the Ancients that we are at the advent of an age that will ultimately spawn universal harmony. It is our responsibility; those that are being made aware now, to live our lives as if the new age has already begun. We are to be role models and a light in the midst of spiritual darkness.

The New Cycle that is to dawn is predicated on us becoming cognizant to the brilliance that the Source of all that exists made us purposely interconnected. There is a poetic beauty knowing that we each have a personal allotment in bringing forth universal harmony. As we draw ever so nigh to 2012 and the end of this current cycle, it behooves us all to reflect daily as to our true intentions and work towards what is truly important to us and our planet.
